<div>Thank you for taking the time to check out my GoFundMe page. I was doing what I could to raise these funds for my trip to Spain and France this May, on my own without taking anything away from my family. I have most of the trip covered but am falling short of the needed total of $5,800.
</div>
<div>I am at the end of my 2nd year of Culinary School at the Great Lakes Culinary Institute in Traverse City, MI. It has been such an amazing experience so far, and I cannot wait to see what the education I am receiving from this amazing institution will help me accomplish in my culinary career journey.
</div>
<div>In May, we are traveling to San Sebastian, Spain. and Bourdeaux, France. We will be visiting different kitchens, vineyards, The Culinary Institue of Barcelona and MANY more historic places to grow our knowledge and appreciation for worldly cuisine. This will be an experience that I NEVER thought or dreamed of happening. And I am asking from the bottom of my heart, from friends and family, to help me raise the final funds to take part in this trip.

<div>I have never worked so hard for anything in my life. Which I don't feel the best about. I wish I would have started this earlier in life or realized this is what I wanted to do. I never thought I could, to be honest. I didn't have the self-confidence. But with my unbelievably supportive wife Jessica, my family, my employers, and all my friends, I am seeing the light at the end of the tunnel. I could not have made it this far without all of you. For that, I am forever appreciative.

<div>I plan to put this knowledge I will obtain from this trip, right to work when I return home. Hoping this will add to my skillset and make me more valuable in my culinary career.

<div>I have attached the itinerary of our trip, to show you what I will have the opportunity to experience, and take part in on this trip. These are visits, and workshops that I WOULD NEVER be able to do on my own. It's a trip of a lifetime. It would be invaluable to me and my educational experience.
