Help fund a car and a home. It's not what it seems

Hi my name is Ben and I have a long term customer that lives in his car, unfortunately he was in a car accident last week and the vehicle has been written off. He's ok just a little shaken and bruised but he has lost his home and his independence. I do not know the reason why he has ended up living in his car but he has a story to tell I'm sure. We have always looked after him with his car where we can, aware he doesn't have a lot of money. I'm trying to help him find a car and hoping to raise some money to be able to buy one. It doesn't have to be great, prob $1000 Max. He had a VP Commodore previously, it just needs to be a station wagon, licensed and running. If we can raise some money or if someone has a car to donate this really would make this man's day. He had lost everything.
