<div>My name is Emily Lanci. I am a full time Orangetheory coach and personal trainer and have been working alongside thousands of amazing athletes in my career over the last 5 years. Being a coach means that I get the honor of watching brilliant people from all walks of life come in under the same orange lights with one thing in mind, working towards the best versions of ourselves. I’m amazed and inspired by what I see every single day and that is one of the many reasons that I decided to go for this! I will be running during Walt Disney World’s Marathon Weekend coming up in January. I will be participating in Dopey Challenge which consists of 4 back-to-back races, in this order: 5k, 10k, Half Marathon, Full Marathon. Whew, I know right! My members and clients have motivated me in ways that they don’t even know, and this marathon weekend, I am running for every single one of them.

<div>I am STOKED, and training has been so physically and mentally challenging, but rewarding over the past 6 months. Fitness and movement are my passion, but Disney World has ALWAYS held a special place in my heart, too. Having the opportunity to combine the two things that I love most on this earth is such a privilege.

<div>I am seeking out some financial help from my friends and family, and to whoever may be willing to help out. Circumstances have changed and the costs of getting down to Florida, fueling my body properly for all the races, and just enjoying a little bit of time away from my jobs has gotten a lot more difficult than I had anticipated. I am not in a position where I get PTO, so me leaving for a week leaves me without income and in a position where I may not be able to even participate anymore. I really do not want that to be the case. Any donation, even a dollar, makes a difference and puts me closer to my goal of going down and enjoying a stress-free “vacation” (italicized because who the hell other than me calls running 48.6 miles in 4 days a vacation lol).

<div>Thank you from the bottom of my heart for being a part of making magic in my life. Every mile I run, I will be running for each and every member who has stepped foot in my classes, given energy back when they may not have had it, and worked towards a better version of themselves because they CAN. You are all my inspiration, and I can’t wait to make you all so proud!
