Help Fry’s Fun Farm

Hi friends, we are the Fry’s of Fry’s Fun Farm; a small family owned and run business that has had the pleasure and honor of serving and entertaining children and their families of Central Texas for the past 27 years. In that time, we’ve serviced over 10,000 events delighting the young and young at heart alike with our beautiful baby farm animals, pony rides, train rides and more.
Tragically, with the nature of our business being centered around people getting together and celebrating, our calendar has gone from near fully booked to empty in a matter of weeks. In that short time, 93 events amounting to nearly $68,000.00 of revenue vanished. Between cancellations continuing to climb daily and clients unable to make new reservations, the projected losses are mortifying. Although we are open year-round, the business is very much seasonal. The vast majority of our events schedule in the spring and fall when the weather is mild. These high volume times pay the bills through the slower summer and winter.
Business has stopped and unfortunately that does not mean that the work or the bills stop. We are currently maintaining over 300 animals here at the farm. As members of our team and our family, we strive to provide them with the highest standard of living and care that we possibly can. Now, with no foreseeable income or end in sight to this crisis and with resources dwindling, we are left wondering how and if it is possible to keep the ship afloat.
Everyone here at the farm loves what we do. We are truly fortunate to have the pleasure of making our living by bringing smiles and joy to so many. The thought of not being able to continue our work here is heart breaking. However it is a stark realization that this will become reality unless something changes soon.
It has taken us nearly three decades to amass the animals we have today. Some of our furry friends have been with us from the beginning, and many more are multi-generational families who’s lineage can be traced back to the same time. These creatures are part of our family. It is a very large family to care for. The cost of feeding everyone alone is astronomical. Then there are still basic necessities and veterinary care that must be maintained. As much as we love our babies, we will not be able to keep them if we cannot provide them with the standard of care that they deserve. If it comes to that, it could be the end of Fry’s Fun Farm.
That is why at this trying time we are humbly asking for your support. We know that this crisis has impacted just about every corner of the globe, and that countless people across the country and around the world are in the same position we are financially. We are eternally grateful to all for every donation made, as well as to everyone who may help share this and get the word out and for all your thoughts and prayers. It is our hope to continue serving our friends and neighbors for generations to come. Your support will help make it possible.
