This page is to help our dearest friend and coworker; and for the sake of his life, we will keep his name and any other information anonymous due to the ongoing investigation by the El Cajon PD. We’ve known our friend and coworker for over 2 decades and have personally witnessed his greatest moments as well as his hardships. Recently however his life was changed drastically, and on the morning of November 3rd, 2021, was brutally attacked at the trolley station. He was making his way to our shop, where he does little odds and ends for us to provide a little work; when he became the target of a heartless, cruel, cold-blooded individual who stabbed our friend and coworker multiple times. Leaving him on the street with multiple injuries; hitting multiple major organs, a protrusion on one hand, and an ear half cut off and is currently on a ventilator in the ICU. What bothers me the most is that he recently lost his job (not our shop) which paid for his rent and living expenses, and through all the struggles he has been through how can someone not knowing this defenseless elder do this to him. The mental state or the thoughts going through this individual while injuring our friend takes us on a roller coaster rid of emotions! It is sad to say that we live in a world of chaos, however, these are times to rejoice and help our friend and coworker get back on his feet. We do our best to help him with any day-to-day necessities he may need. However, we are asking for prayers and monetary help to cover any expenses for when he gets back home.
