Help Frisco ISD Virtual Learners Get Computers

Kids in Frisco ISD are having to borrow computers to participate in virtual learning this year. The district said they are providing internet for virtual learner access.

We are raising money so that kids in need in the district can have a computer of their own and not stress about whether or not one will be available or whether or not it is in good working order. We are focusing this effort on students who have signed up for Virtual Academy for 2020-2021.

We are working with the district to identify kids in need  The district has stated the computers need to be Chromebooks of any brand that have a working webcam. We also want each child receiving a computer to have a set of JBL Bluetooth noise canceling headphones with built-in microphone to help them focus on learning. We can obtain the computers for around $300 and the headphones for around $50.  We can provide about 40 computer and headphone sets to students in need in Frisco ISD Virtual Academy.

The recipients will receive the computers and headphones to keep.
