Help Friends of Elkin Dog Park

Have you heard the good news? It's official! The dog park is moving to Standard Street but we need your help!

No need to worry about flooding, soggy grass and deep mud! The Friends of the Elkin Dog Park is moving to Standard Street across the street from Crater Park. 
As you have seen, the fencing was severely damaged during the floods this past fall. If we were to keep the dog park at that location we would have to continuously repair the fence. Who has time for that when Fido needs to play? We have our fingers crossed for a spring opening.

The funds raised will be used for:
New fencing (Luckily a lot of original fencing can be reused!)
Water Lines
Small shelter
Waste Stations and waste receptacles
Trees and other landscaping materials
and other improvements
