Help Nikita get HIV treatment

Donation protected
In May 2017 Nikita and his boyfriend were diagnosed with HIV. With the right treatment and care they could live a long and healthy life with HIV. It is important to start treatment as soon as possible but in their  home country Russia where gay people are persecuted by society and the state, even getting tested for HIV is fraught with problems. AIDS has plagued Russians for decades, but stigma around the disease has been heightened by a government that prefers to pretend it doesn't exist.
They do lead a healthy lifestyle: try to eat clean and stay fit. They are practically at the gym every day. Because of that their immune system is high and virus load is low. HIV doctors in Russia fail to surround their patients with warmth and attention. And they refuse to prescribe the meds saying that at this stage it is okay to not take any meds (because they are in such good shape).
The US Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS), recommended in guidelines for the use of Antiretroviral Agents in March 2012 the initiation of therapy for HIV infection with any immune status. Meanwhile in Russia the meds are prescribed therapy only when immune status drops below 350 cells. Basically they are saying that they are too healthy to receive free medication.
With all being said they cannot afford buying these meds on their own, but they do want to live a long healthy life. They wish to start taking them as soon as possible. So with the help of friends and family I humbly ask everyone to donate for their treatment. Anything will help! Let’s try to extend our loved ones lives ❤️
