<div>Help Fresh Gallery Survive the Renew Jordan Creek Construction

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>Fresh Gallery needs our help to survive as they attempt to keep their doors open throughout this massive construction project.

</div>

<div>The Renew Jordan Creek project is well underway.

</div>

<div>Envisioned by the City of Springfield as an urban enhancement to encourage redevelopment in downtown—something most of us agree is needed-this project promises a better future for our city.

</div>

<div>But in the meantime, it’s coming at a cost.

</div>

<div>Construction began in 2024, bringing unintended consequences that are hitting some downtown businesses hard.

</div>

<div>Fresh Gallery, a small legacy gallery supporting local artists, has been cut off—almost completely.

</div>

<div>Located at 401 N Boonville, the gallery sits directly in the center of the construction zone:

</div>

<div>•	Streets are closed

</div>

<div>•	Visibility has nearly disappeared

</div>

<div>•	There is no nearby parking

</div>

<div>•	Access by car is extremely limited

</div>

<div>•	Foot traffic requires navigating multiple active construction zones

</div>

<div>In short: customers can’t get there.

</div>

<div>And for a small retail gallery that relies on foot traffic, it’s been devastating.

</div>

<div>This level of disruption is not sustainable without community support.

</div>

<div>Construction is expected to continue through at least the end of 2026.

</div>

<div>While the city moves forward with a project that will ultimately transform downtown, existing businesses like Fresh Gallery are struggling just to survive the transformation.
