They moved to Brooklyn Center, MN from Nicaragua, leaving behind professional careers and Master's degrees, and have been working hard to give their children a beautiful life filled with love and hope in the U.S. Maria teaches in a Spanish immersion school in Roseville and Pedro works 6 days a week at Taco Bell. Their immigration and work status are fully legal in the United States.
