HELP FREE FRITZ ENRIQUEZ

On June 5, 2018, ICE (U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement) came knocking on our door at 6 A.M. looking for my husband, Fritz Enriquez. They told me that they were there to speak to Fritz in reference to a warrant for a fine he had not paid for a previous conviction. That was a lie. I explained to them that Fritz had no warrants, because he had not been in trouble with the law in a long time. He is a family man now and has full time employment working with the Engineering and Maintenance team at Major League Baseball in Secaucus, NJ. I further explained that any fines or court fees had been paid. They quickly responded with, "We must have him confused with someone else." They failed to state who they were and clearly lied about why they were there. They had been following me for a few days prior, however since Fritz was working nights and sleeping during the day they were unable to locate him. He was arrested and taken into ICE custody for a 1999 Marijuana conviction, which is considered under the Immigration and Nationality Act, an aggravated felony. Fritz is of Cuban descent and has been in this great country since he was 1 years old. And recently, He had just renewed his permanent residency card two months prior to his arrest and was approved. He was not flagged by the office of U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services. Instead this government agency sent over his information to ICE, where he was given mandatory detention for a crime he committed almost 20 years ago. Not to mention - he took the blame for one of his friends who had just had a baby, the baby was in the car, and the cops were threatening them with calling child services. Trump and his regime has waged war on Immigration and anyone within arms reach is paying the price, including Fritz! After living in this country close to 40 years Fritz now faces the threat of deportation while he sits in Essex County Correctional Facility. This injustice has created a huge impact on our family. Our children cry every night asking when their daddy is coming back home. It breaks my heart! This only happens on the news, and to other people, but now this is real. We are struggling with attorney fees, child care, and maintaining his well being while in ICE custody. Please help our family get through this very difficult time as we are facing great hardship.
