Franklin, my great nephew, was born three weeks premature and has faced a challenging start to life. Since birth, he has been in the NICU due to serious, undiagnosed lung issues, receiving constant care and attention from dedicated medical professionals. Recently, Franklin’s condition required him to be flown to the Children's Hospital in Pittsburgh, where he continues to fight and receive specialized treatment. His parents, who are just beginning their careers, have been by his side every step of the way, but the costs of medical care and the need to stay in Pittsburgh have quickly added up, creating a significant financial strain.
