Help Frank Walk Again: Emergency Surgery Fundraiser
Donation protected
Frank, our sweet and energetic cat, recently underwent a total hip replacement, a rare and complex surgery for cats. Unfortunately, despite the procedure being a success, he experienced one of the riskiest complications—a femur fracture caused by the implant, a 5% chance that became our reality.
We did everything we could to keep him stable, but his repair (a plate and wire) started failing the first night. Now, Frank is undergoing his third emergency surgery to repair the fracture again and ensure his leg heals properly.
Frank had pet insurance before he was ever diagnosed, but they denied coverage, claiming his condition was pre-existing—even though he had never been diagnosed with hip dysplasia before. We are actively appealing this decision, but in the meantime, we’re facing overwhelming out-of-pocket costs to save his leg.
We’re asking for support to cover Frank’s surgery, hospital stays, and the critical aftercare he needs for a full recovery. Every donation, no matter the amount, helps us give Frank the best chance at walking pain-free again.
If you’re unable to donate, please consider sharing Frank’s story. We appreciate any help in getting him back on his feet!
Thank you so much for your kindness and support.
