Help Frank Overcome Facial Neuropathy

Hello. My name is Frank Bass, and I also go by Fufu. I am a senior in college working to finish my Bachelor's Degree in Asian and Middle Eastern Studies. I love my passion for education and language/culture studies.

I am currently dealing with a condition of facial neuropathy where I can't see out of my right eye. It's called Tunnel Vision and nerve neuropathy. I experienced a fall around two years ago and lacerated my forehead at my home in Minneapolis. I was studying my degree classes and planning to return to teaching Mandarin to youth in northern Minnesota during the summer. This made a huge impact on my mental, physical, and emotional health and has impacted the way I can interact with my peers, friends, and future students.

I have found connections through a Bible fellowship where a surgeon from Taiwan has agreed to perform a nerve graft, a facelift, and stem cell treatment for my condition, but my funds from college can barely afford my living expenses for the spring semester. I am making this fundraiser so that I can start the healing process and continue pursuing my goal of inspiring courageous global citizens and educating future children and adults in English and Mandarin. I hope to inspire courage in my community, and hopefully, this medical procedure will help me achieve that.
