Hello everybody,

here I sit coming up with the right words to honour the life of my beautiful friend, Francisca Torres (Panchi) who passed August 12, 2024, due to cancer. Since the news hit my door I knew I wanted to do something for her family during this time of transition.

Francisca was a very inspiring woman to many, she was a Mother, Daughter, Wife, Dancer, Singer, Seed keeper, Gardner and so much more. With her passing she left a beautiful legacy, her two sons, Amaru (10 yrs) and Kamal (5 yrs) along with her step daughter Zoe (15 yrs) and husband Felipe. They keep giving life to their beautiful home during this time. Panchi is missed everyday by many and will forever be in our hearts.

As I navigate this profound loss, I ask for your support to help Felipe and the children find peace and stability. This journey is difficult, but we believe in the strength of community and the power of love.

Your contributions will provide much-needed assistance to her family during this time of healing. Together, we can honour Panchi’s memory and ensure that her spirit continues to thrive in the hearts of those she loved.

Aquí estoy sentada pensando en las palabras correctas para honrar la vida de mi hermosa amiga, Francisca Torres, quien falleció el 12 de agosto de 2024 debido a un cáncer. Desde que la noticia llegó a mi puerta, supe que quería hacer algo por su familia durante este tiempo de transición.

Francisca fue una mujer muy inspiradora para muchos, fue madre, hija, esposa, bailarina, cantante, guardiana de semillas, jardinera y mucho más. Con su fallecimiento dejó un hermoso legado, sus dos hijos, Amaru (10 años) y Kamal (5 años), junto con su hijastra Zoe (15 años) y su esposo Felipe. Siguen dándole vida a su hermoso hogar durante este tiempo. Muchos extrañan a Panchi todos los días y siempre estará en nuestros corazones.

Mientras afrontamos esta profunda pérdida, les pido su apoyo para Felipe y a los niños a nutrir su presente de paz y estabilidad. Este viaje es complejo, pero creemos en la fuerza de la comunidad y el poder del amor.

Sus contribuciones brindarán la asistencia a su familia durante este tiempo de integracion. Juntos podemos honrar la memoria de Panchi y asegurarnos de que su espíritu siga prosperando en los corazones de sus seres queridos.
