Help Foreign Workers in Lebanon Go Home

Donation protected
Foreign domestic workers in Lebanon (from Kenya, Sudan, Ghana and other countries), have been stuck on the streets of Beirut without food or shelter, unable to go home, and being harassed and pushed to prostitution in order to raise money to feed their children and themselves. Their conditions have dramatically worsened following the blast that took out half of the city.

We want to send an initial group of 50 workers (including several babies)  home to be reunited with their families and resume their lives.

We are looking to raise $35,000 to pay for their flights home.  The funds will be used to 1) shelter them until a flight is scheduled, 2) complete all paperwork with the Lebanese authorities and local consulates (basically obtaining the right to travel if they do not possess a passport), 3) administer PCR (COVID-19) tests, and 4) pay for transportation and airfare.

We are not looking to use the funds for food as another NGO is already providing them with food and water.

Please consider donating and freeing these poor workers from the awful conditions they found themselves in right now.

We will share a list of every worker, their story and put together a video of their journey home.

Thank you for your support!

Please note that we are NOT an NGO. We are a small group of concerned citizens looking to help any way we can and rectify some of the misery we are seeing today.
