Zoila, UWC 05, is a beautiful person, doctor by training, married to Gilberto (UWC 03) and mother to Juan, a young and curious kid. A few years ago, they left their home country of Nicaragua due to rising socio-political unrest and have sought asylum and settled in Vigo, Spain.
They are all healthy. Juan is a lovely young kid and will start school in September. He loves dinosuars, I found upon meeting him with a diplodocus toy. Zoila is a doctor but is still unable to practice due to the bureaucracy of validating her degree in Spain. Gilberto is a smart and experienced young professional with sales experience, and has struggled to find a job in these difficult times.
Zoila works hard as a carer for the elderly, and is always on the move. She has got a full fight in her, we know that she is very strong. They are indeed getting by, but could really benefit from our support.
