Hi, my name is Gina Quinlan and I am starting this go fund me to help Zehya who is a long time community member (30 years) and a single mother of a disabled child (Clayton). Her son requires 24/7 care and a number of misfortunes have befallen her lately, leaving her overwhelmed and in need of assistance. The death of her own mother, Terri White last year left her all on her own to look after Clayton as well as keep up the house they have lived in for many years. The government support she was getting for her son has dwindled to almost zero as he is 18 going on 19 now. But he will continue to need 24/7 care for the rest of his life. In addition to the death of her mother she has lately had her dryer break down (and she does 8 loads of laundry a day) Her propane tank has been condemned and she has had a flood in the crawl space under her house from a leaking hot water tank. I am hoping this fund can get her a new laundry pair and propane tank, and deal with the flood under her house which will include removing and replacing the insulation and installing a Vapor barrier. She also needs several loads hauled to the dump and Giro and people to help with that. Those of you who know Zehya will know she is an amazing, strong woman with a deep love for her son and a passion for art and music. She really deserves some help from the community now.
