Help for two students that were scammed

Óran and Nicole are 2nd year fashion students, having spent their first year of college in their bedrooms, they wanted to try make the most of their second year. Both girls worked all summer long to save up to pay for student accommodation.

They searched for weeks with no luck. Just as they had almost given up, two rooms became available, they were so excited that they transferred the deposit and months rent each, a total of €5,350.

As the days went by the girls became suspicious of their new landlord, and in a horrible twist of faith they became aware that they had been scammed, they were heartbroken.

Although they were naive it was a very hard lesson for them. The bank offered no help, the guards took a statement but two weeks later and they still haven’t followed up.

We have set up this gofundme to try and help the girls, and also restore their faith in humanity some bit.
