Help for tongue cancer surgery

Doug has battled with throat cancer in past years. He came out fine and now 6 years later it has come back on his tongue. His only option to live is to have this surgery where they remove his whole tongue. This is extremely complicated and expensive. He does have medical insurance but his out of pocket is 10,000.00 and our Mom will be trying to work to live off her income while taking care of him and cover medical expenses.
