Help for the Vicentes

The Vicente's are a fire family. Jenny and Walter are the parents of an 8 year old daughter and two sons ages 4 and 1. Walter is an Engine Captain in the Columbia River Gorge Scenic Area along the Oregon/Washington border. Walter is also a former Zig Zag Hotshot. Jenny has her hands full with three wonderful kids under the age of 10. Jenny and Walter are both 30 years old and enjoy all that life in the gorge has to offer.The Vicente's have been dealt a difficult blow. About a month ago Jenny was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer. It started as breast cancer and has spread to various parts of her body. It is rare for someone of Jenny's age to experience this form of cancer. The doctors are hopeful that hormone and immune therapy can help force the cancer into remission providing this young family with a future together. The cancer will not fully go away, but it can be kept at bay.
Insurance will help, but it will not come close to covering the cost of treatment and loss of income due to illness. Your donations will help pay for medical bills and basic needs. It will also assist in reducing the stress that this family is experiencing.
