Help for the Nixon Family

Kevin Nixon was a close part of the Coast Guard family here on Kodiak , serving as gate security for many years until a bad turn in his health made him unable to do so.  Recently, high winds came and knocked some rather large trees onto his house and camper, leaving him and his wife without a home. He is staying with family for a short period of time and unfortunately did not have renters insurance . They could use some help getting back on thier feet, replacing some of the things that were lost and moving into something more permanent. Right now, they do not have much access to thier belongings as they are trapped in the house under the downed trees.
