Help for the Lowrey Family

As many of you may know, Megan Lowrey fearlessly and passionately leads the Takeda Speaker Bureau logistics team. She is a two-time winner of the Platinum Link Core Value Award, and for good reason. What you may not know is what she is currently facing in her personal life.
Megan’s mother-in-law underwent heart surgery in November, but encountered significant post-surgery complications and remains hospitalized. Additionally, Megan’s husband, Jeff, fell ill with a high fever and was admitted to ICU this past Sunday evening. Doctors are currently trying to identify the cause of the fever and are unsure if it is related to his neuroendocrine cancer or an outside source. As you can imagine, Megan and her family have spent most of their holiday season in the hospital.
If you know Megan, you know that you’d never be able to tell what’s going on by talking to her. She is a pillar of strength – not only for her family, including her 5 year old son, Grayson, but to her team as well. It amazes me how she remains so positive and dedicated to her work in the face of such adversity.
With the holidays upon us, and in the spirit of giving, we want to thank Megan for all she has done for our team, and show her our support during this difficult time. The speaker bureau team has organized a donation opportunity that will benefit Megan’s family, to assist with hospital bills, groceries, or whatever else may be needed right now.
We invite you to contribute as well! We understand that everyone’s budgets may be tight around the holidays but if you would like to help it would be amazing!
