Help for the Laluk's during Cancer Treatment

Hi my name Is Shauna. I am married to a wonderful man Tony and together we have a 10 year old Daughter Isabelle.
Here is our story ....
On July 28th Tony was diagnosed with Esophageal Cancer.  What a devastating shock it was to us as we honestly never thought that would be the out come.
With Tony being our primary income, he will need to take time off for Chemotherapy and radiation as well as surgery. We thought we had it covered financially. Unfortunately on Aug 1st Tonys insurance provider through work had just changed and little did we know so did the short and long term disability.
Now the stress level has been raised and as hard as it is, I am reaching out for help. It was a hard decision but I know it takes a team to fight through times Iike these. 
Were hoping for a little help to keep up on basic bills and groceries for a few month while Tony does treatment. Also so I can take extra time off for his surgery to be with him in Winnipeg while he heals for at least two weeks.
