Welcome here!! My name is Kody Stewart. Dan and Marissa have been dear friends of ours for a very long time and even though we live on opposites sides of the country, we are blessed to be able to see them annually and we stay in touch with regular texts.
As many of you know, Marissa has been diagnosed with advanced breast cancer and will be going through surgery and treatment including some alternative therapies.
The goal of this campaign is to support their dear little family in a practical way and help reduce some of the financial stress for the next 6 months as they walk this journey. For those of us that live far away, helping out day to day isn't possible and yet we want them to know we're here to help and support them. As we all know-adulting ain't cheap. Groceries, gas, bills & extra for supplements can add up super quick. If we are able to help share a small part of the load, I know it will be such a huge support and give them some room to breathe.
I have set a lower goal to start at $3600 (20$ a day for the next six months). If you are able to cover a day or two or week, that would be amazing as anything and everything will be greatly appreciated.
I will attempt to keep regular updates as they are available!!
