Help for the Chaney Family

Erica Chaney has spent the greater part of her life pouring into others. She has mentored students, ministered to the homeless and volunteered for multiple charities, while serving in her greatest role as mother of four wonderful children. In November of 2017 Erica began having debilitating headaches. After a series of tests, Doctors discovered a blood clot on her brain as well as a brain bleed. The location of the clot is not optimal for surgery so they have been attempting to treat with medication. After a week in the hospital, Erica attempted to return to work but her doctor prohibited her from continuing. Fast forward to today and the clot is still there. She has begun experiencing vision loss and excruciating pain. This weeks tests revealed spinal fluid on the brain and behind the eyes. They have increased her medication but if unsuccessful will move forward with a brain port. Erica’s faith has not wavered. She feels humbled by so many who have helped with food and gifts thus far. She does not know when she will be cleared to return to work and the financial responsibilities are mounting. My heart aches for this precious single mother, daughter, sister, and friend. Any money collected will go towards rent, utilities, food, and other immediate needs for Erica and her babies. If you can’t give financially, please keep her and her family in your prayers.
