Help for Autumn Carver family auto accident

Donation protected
Hello friends and family, I am sharing this with you at my family’s request and asking for your prayers and financial support on behalf of Autumn Carver and her children who were in a car accident on February 6th.

They were driving to California for a vacation and while passing through Las Vegas their van was in a t-bone collision with an intoxicated driver. Owen (13), and Grant (6) were not physically injured and required no medical attention from the accident. Summer (15) was in another family member's vehicle and wasn’t involved in the accident.

Autumn, Wyatt (11), and Hinkley (4) were all on the side of the van that was impacted by the other vehicle, and all of them were taken via ambulance to the hospital. Hinkley's injuries required stitches, but are otherwise minor, and will likely be released from the hospital tomorrow.

Wyatt’s injuries are more serious, he has a concussion and had surgery last night to close extensive lacerations on his face, and he will be having another surgery in a few days to repair damage to the bones around his eye. We are praying for a good outcome and that Wyatt will be able to keep his eye. It is unknown at this time how long Wyatt will be in the hospital.

Autumn’s injuries are also serious. She has a concussion, broken ribs, bruised lungs, a fracture in her skull, and numerous other non-life threatening injuries. It is unknown how long she will be in the hospital. When she is able to be released from the hospital she is looking at a long and painful road of recovery.

Autumn had to be cut from her vehicle to have her injuries treated, and the vehicle which is currently her family's sole source of transportation is totalled. At this point they haven’t been able to retrieve their belongings from their vehicle, and it may be awhile before that happens. The immediate needs of food, shelter, and replacing clothing for Autumn and her children are being provided for by her extended family and a local friend who lives in Las Vegas.

I love my sister and my niece and nephews very much and my heart is aching at this trauma they are experiencing. If you’re reading this you probably love Autumn and her family too, and like me are anxious to help in any way you can. We thank you for your love and concern, and ask you to join us in praying for Autumn and Wyatt to be able to heal and have the best possible recovery from their injuries. Pray for all of Autumn’s family, and the driver of the vehicle that impacted Autumn’s van to be able to heal emotionally from the trauma of this terrifying experience.

And we ask for your donations great and small to help alleviate the financial burden of medical expenses that will accompany this traumatic event. Thank you for taking the time to read this, thank you for loving and praying for Autumn and her family.
