Help for the Bowden Family

Danielle Bowden and I became fast friends when we were little girls. That friendship has remained strong over geographical distance and time.  We don’t get to see each other often but when we do I’m met with Danielle’s big smile and huge hug every time. Danielle is a naturally upbeat and positive person who handles strife and difficulty with grace and strength. She is one of the most generous people I’ve ever known and gives back to others at every opportunity. On her birthday she encourages others to “pay it forward” instead of celebrating her. She is wonderful person and incredible friend to all who know her. 

As many of you know, this past year has been a struggle for Danielle and her family. Bryon endured an injury and back surgery that has left him unable to work. Danielle has been working long hours at up to four jobs at a time to support her family and has born that burden with the same positive attitude and dignity that has always carried her through life. However, in recent days these months of struggle have caused her own body to break down. Danielle’s illness has left her family with unexpected medical bills, has forced her to allow her body time to heal, and has left the family in an extreme position. This woman who has given us so much and always paid it forward needs for us to give back to her.
