Help for the Bathke Family

Amy is currently undergoing a treatment for a recurrence of leukemia for which her first treatment was unsuccessful.  Amy is a wife and mother of a vivacious five-year old, but has remained isolated in hospital care during this treatment.  This second treatment period is expected to be over a period of several months, during which she cannot be at home with her family due to a compromised immune system as part of the treatment program.  Amy has been on unpaid leave during this treatment period and paying her full health insurance premiums on her own.   The financial costs are minimal relative to the emotional costs she must be enduring from being separated from her loving family during this second treatment period.  All efforts will be to ease the financial burden of her second recovery, so Amy and her family can focus on her healing.
