Help for Terry C.

This is to raise funds for Terry Christopher, a long time proponent of Soccer in the Portland, Oregon metro area. Terry has been instrumental over the years in helping organize the Greater Portland Soccer District (GPSD), the Portland area adult Mens League, as well as being a member of the Board of Directors for the Oregon Adult Soccer Association (OASA). He had previously been involved in youth soccer in East Multnomah County.
Terry moved out from the Portland area to Otis, Oregon, on the Central Oregon coast, near Lincoln City, a number of years ago, even though he still works with GPSD and OASA.
At the end of August/Early September, the Echo Mountain Complex Fire ravaged over 900 structures in Lincoln County, Oregon, burning through parts of the towns of Rose Lodge and Otis.
Terry Christopher's home was one of those buildings burnt down. The hope is that we, those willing to donate, can provide some much needed relief to Terry as he sorts through the process of navigating what is needed to rebuild.
Insurance should be helpful in this process, and there are a number of organizations helping the victims of this, and all the other fires in Oregon, but it would be great to be able to provide some more immediate funds for such things as living expenses, clothing, etc. until such time as the process needs to finish.
I have tossed the requested amount of $10,000 as a random number, as I have no real idea as to what is needed in regards to funding for Terry to begin the process, but he has lost everything in the fire, so he's starting from scratch, and this seemed like a good amount to give him a leg up.
I have known Terry for most of my life. He was one of my soccer coaches growing up in the Gresham area and helped usher a number of kids through Youth, Classic, and into Adult soccer in the Portland Area. He then went on to run the Greater Portland Soccer League, of which he is still the President of, and in which I still play. I know I am not the only one he provided opportunities to play soccer to over all these years.
