Help for Tara Bouvette's family

Donation protected
Tara Bouvette was on her way to Edmonton from Kamloops, on November 22nd, when she hit a moose with her car at highway speed. She was airlifted immediately to university of Alberta hospital. She was taken into surgery to have a peice of her skull removed to make room for swelling, and they cleaned up some bleeding on the outside of the brain as well as some inside. After surgery she was stabilized and placed into ICU in critical condition. Shelley (Tara's mom) and Chris (Tara's brother) took the first flight out of Kamloops saturday morning. Ashley (Tara's sister) and family from parts of BC, have also travelled to be with her. Tara has 41 staples in her skull, as well as stitches. She also suffered a fracture at the base of her skull and 14+ fractures to the face, as well as a major cut by the corner of her right eye. She will need surgery to her face where they will place plates to fix the damage in the bone structure. Shelley and the rest of the family have had to take unexpected time off work and for an unknown amount of time, to be by Tara's side. As well as the cost of last-minute plane tickets, hotel stays etc.  ICBC will cover certain costs but im sure we all know its never as much as is needed. Tara has a long road ahead of recovery and an incredible family with her, we dont want cost to be a problem for her mom and we appreciate any support for Shelley and her family.
