Help for Shannon & Cory after house burns down

Today I am asking for help for my daughter Shannon and her partner Cory

August 4 my daughter was in a serious car accident. She was lucky and had an Angel watching over her. Her car was totaled and her only injury was a 6 inch gash on her left forearm (down to the bone). She is still off work trying to heal. She works as a dental hygienist and can’t risk getting an infection with her open wound. Her EI just started and even though insurance paid for her written off car arrival of her new car is unknown.

If the above was not bad enough to deal with a hurricane September 25 hit the maritimes. She lives in Nova Scotia and she has been through hurricanes before and has gotten through them. As times before they were prepared and were waiting out this hurricane. They knew it was going to be worse than all the others. Trees were knocked down and they had lost power and she was feeling blessed that they had survived another. They set up their generator and waited for the power to be restored. Only to have a second disaster hit them. The generator (for reasons unknown) caught fire. The high winds caused the house to catch fire before they could even act. They got out with only themselves just the clothes on their backs (just their slippers)and the pets (she could not get her purse so all her id and bank cards are gone and Cory lost his phone). They called 911 but downed trees slowed their response. They sat there and watched their home burn to the ground.

Yes they have insurance and it will eventually replace everything. I am just asking for help till then. To help alleviate the burden of trying to rebuild while trying to heal and waiting to get back to work. To help with daily expenses, food and clothing and medical supplies for Shannon’s arm.
