We are starting a go fund me page for our Mom Sandra Janczak
As many of you know our Family has been deeply affected this year by Pancreatic Cancer. In February 2017 our Mom has to undergo emergency gallbladder surgery, unfortunately, even after her surgery she was still not feeling well. Her feeling ill continued over the next few months and during this time she experienced weight loss with severe stomach and back pain.
Over Memorial Day weekend her pain became so intense she ended up in the ER where they performed an ultrasound and a CT scan and found a mass on her liver, lung and pancreas. At this time she was referred to an oncologist who did biopsies of the above mentioned organs. Sadly, on June 6, 2017 we were told that our amazing Mom was being diagnosed with stage 4 Pancreatic Cancer. So many tears and so much anger filled the room that day, however my Mom the amazing woman she is, stood up and said she was going to “Put all of her Faith and Trust in the Lord.” That following week she started chemo, where her attitude and positive spirits have been nothing short of AMAZING!! She had even continued to work full time.
Recently her health has taken a turn for the worse. She started having even more back pain which had her going back to the emergency room. With this most recent visit, we have found out that the Cancer on her liver and pancreas have grown. With this information, she immediately started a new aggressive form of chemo along with a clinical trial drug, hoping to stabilize the cancer. Since the new diagnosis and treatment, she has become very weak and is not able to do most of her daily activities, including going back to work. Not only does she have the chemo to deal with, she now has the stress of not being able to work, her everyday bills and on top of it all, her medical bills are piling up and spirits are low.
We have, as a Family decided to start this Go Fund Me Page for our Mom, Sandy, who has leads been the first person to help anyone in need themselves. If you are able to help our Mom, and give back to her in anyway, we will forever be greatful. In our hearts and our minds we know that if we can somehow take some of the financial burden off of her so she can rest easy and focus on her health and life, that alone will give her some of the positive vibes to keep pushing thru that she had at the beginning of her journey.
