Help for Roger Butterfly Jr's kids be by his side

Update from his sister Wendy on 12/21/2020 on Lil Roger he’s still in lots of pain I got to talk to him and he start giving me orders about his horses he sounds a lot better today, I’m not sure if I let you all know what happened but he got bucked off a horse he was trying to catch one that was getting away and his horse stumbled and plunged him right into the ground head first and the horse trampled him, he has many breaks in his vertebrae and from the breaks his spinal cord was severed by the bones so he had to have surgery yesterday to get a rod put in his back and stabilize him, he also had a collapsed lung and his chest was filling up with blood so they had to put a chest tube in to drain, wearing a neck brace also because he has a couple fractures that are not life threatening in his neck but keeping his neck from moving and causing more damage, he also had broken ribs I believe five ribs they believe that’s what caused the collapsed lung, has a broken nose and a gash on his head that required at least 20 stitches, today he is receiving his vest to sit him up and for mobility, before he went into surgery he had no feelings from the waist down but with time and healing and with lots of prayers and positive thoughts we are praying he gets his feelings back it could take up to 3-6 months to tell depending on the healing of his spine we the family would like to thank each and everyone of his family members, friends and community for praying for him.
We ask that you please do not flood the ICU with phone calls as they have one family member whom they will be updating if any changes and that person will notify family and friends but your more then welcome to stop in at Great Falls Benefis Hospital to visit they are allowing two visitors at a time.
Please continue to keep Roger in your daily prayers for healing thank you again, The money will be used for his four children whom would be staying close to him while in Great Falls during this difficult time.  Anything is greatly appreciated.  Thank you all and continued prayers
