Help for Premmie baby Eloise May

Bronwyn and Hamish have had two surprises in their life this year. The first that they would be having a baby. Being a young but responsible couple they went straight into budgeting mode knowing Bronwyn wouldn’t be working once Eloise arrived at the end of March 2018. All was going well with their finances and they were excitedly planning, setting up the nursery, buying baby clothes and anticipating Eloise’s arrival. The second surprise was that Bronwyn developed a very dangerous form of preeclampsia and was hospitalised with complete bed rest at 24 weeks gestation. Doctors were hopeful that they could control the preeclampsia and induce Bronwyn at 30 weeks. Unfortunately, that was not to be and little Eloise May Thomas was delivered by emergency Caesarian at 26 weeks and 2 days on 1st December weighing a tiny 481 grams and placed immediately in NICU. We need your help as this couple live in Maleny and the closest NICU unit is in Brisbane, an hour from their home. Hamish is an apprentice chef at our cafe and drives most days to the hospital and back after he finishes his shift. As you can imagine with only one wage coming in and the cost of fuel and parking fees at the hospital these guys are really struggling to pay rent and bills on top of these unexpected costs.
