Back in January a tree fell on him. His pelvic bone is fractured on both sides, he’s got fractures in his back and his shoulder is splintered. He has many fractured vertebrae and 4 broken ribs. On top of that he is now septic, has pneumonia and a uti. He’s being transferred to Piedmont where his liver transplant team is standing by. His wife has been sitting with him since the day it happened and she needs our prayers as well. She is struggling with this as any of us would. You know when we have a family member suffering in front of us, it takes a toll on us too. Fear, anxiety.....so many feelings creep in and hospitals will weigh heavy on you anyway.
Update: They have now determined his liver & kidneys are functioning properly . Rather than pneumonia the broken ribs causing difficulty with breathing caused fluid to build up. Tim will have a long haul to build strength up after this ordeal. During all of this, Jan has also been right by his side. She has taken off of work to be at the hospital. They need our help during this time to alleviate some of the financial burden.
Over the years Tim has had numerous things, he had a liver transplant, his spleen removed, a dog bite that almost killed him, sepsis and now this accident. His immune system is already compromised .
