Help for Olivia Mauldin and Family

Our names are LaMont and Jana Melrose, grandparents to Olivia Mauldin who is currently at Texas Children's Hospital of Houston TX.
THE BACKSTORY
New Year's Eve day 2020 Olivia, a happy, energetic 2 year old, woke up as any other day. Ready to tackle the day with her dad and continue her budding career as an amateur photographer. She asked for breakfast but before she took one bite she started to complain that she didn't feel good. She ended up spending the day on the couch with a barf bucket nearby as she couldn't even keep down plain water.
By the evening time she was limp and non-responsive. Her parents rushed her to Conroe hospital where she was immediately admitted and given fluids because she was severely dehydrated. As the cause of the onset of this illness could not be determined, it was decided to transfer her to Texas Children's Hospital in Houston which is better equipped to handle pediatric cases.
She has been intubated, undergone multiple blood tests, MRIs, spinal tap, given a blood bag, and her parents are being tested to try to determine the cause of her problems. Answers continue to evade her doctors and the costs keep rising.
Please consider donating to help this family. Due to covid-19 restrictions only 1 parent can be in the room at a time and this is taking a toll as they have had to request time off and get lodging close to the hospital to be available for their child.
Your generosity can help lighten the load for this young family and they can focus on helping their daughter. Your donation will go directly to Samuel and Karina Mauldin to help deal with the financial repercussions of the myriad of testing as doctors search for a cause, and the steps for recovery.
