HELP FOR OFFICER WINCE & FAMILY

On August 23, 2017 Officer Rick Wince suffered a massive heart attack while on duty in the 7th District of DC MPD. There were no warnings prior to this catastrophic event which left Rick clinging to life as his wife Kelly rushed the two hours to be at his side at Washington MED Star.

While prayers and wishes and gift cards have been pouring in we also know that this will leave the Wince family needing support during his long recovery. Donations to cover loss of income are greatly appreciated. On duty does not always mean in performance of duty, which can affect paid leave. Therefore, we ask for your support for the family. Rick became the proud Grand Pop for the 9th time on the night of his heart attack and we are so glad he will be able to enjoy all of his grandchildren now.

Rick’s wife has gotten a second part time job to help lessen the burden of their financial strain at this time. Please keep in mind that his wife Kelly Wince, President of United for Blue has done great work for law enforcement in DC, MD and VA and it would be great to show her how much we appreciate all she has done. She is also a member of our DC FOP Auxiliary. All donations are truly appreciated.
