Help for Noble Park Community

My name is Liana and I am the President (Volunteer) of the Association of Ukrainians in Victoria, Noble Park Branch - a not for profit community organisation that supports Ukrainian language, culture and history.

In 1969 Ukrainians in Noble Park built our Community Centre with their own funds and no government assistance. We have always been fully self funded.

But unfortunately times have changed and in 2023 we face a real financial struggle. As a not for profit we rely on our own fundraising, grants, donations, hall hire and memberships. We are all volunteers.

2022 took us all by surprise. Our small but active community started receiving displaced Ukrainians, putting time, effort and finances into assisting those in need. This hampered our ability to run our usual fundraising.

So today we are appealing to our friends, members and supporters to help in any way you can with a donation whether it be $5 or $500. This money goes towards paying our everyday bills which total around $50,000 per year.
