Help for my hero Brian and his mom Sarra

Donation protected
My nephew Brain Kraus was diagnosed at the age of 4 with a rare case of severe autoimmune hemolytic anemia secondary to a being born with a chromosome deletion. From birth up to the moment of the onset of this autoimmune disease neither of his conditions were known as he was a pretty healthy child. After months of countless blood transfusions, various medications and chemo treatments in CCMC he was finally able to go home. The battle was still far from over with multiple visits back to Hartford a week for follow ups, bloodwork and transfusions, meeting with specialists,  and on a few occasions being readmitted for a little relapse.

After a couple years of being on the right regimen of various medications his condition seemed to be in remission and his access port was able to be removed finally around the age of 10. We had all been relieved and  in high hopes that things could settle into its own normal range and they did until just recently. November 20th,this terrible and unpredictable disease reared its head once again and Brian was readmitted into CCMC with a low red and white blood count and is receiving blood  transfusions and chemo treatments which have been helping a little but he just cant see to stay stable with his blood count. And he is not taking well to the chemo meds as they make him sick,

His amazing mother and my one and only younger sister Sarra is a single mother who has been from the very beginning struggling and battling to keep it all together for Brian on her own but with the love and support of close family, finds herself now without a second though having to give up her new found career in the healthcare field herself as a CNA to be by his side while in the hospital. As well as when they are finally able to go home to be his one on one and make sure they can make it to all his follow up appointments. With his weakened immune system, and the current  health pandemic around the world as well as the common illness she needs to be as careful as possible and limit her and his contact with people. There is no cure for his conditions and his future is unknown, all we can do is keep hoping and praying he can once again conquer this beast and continue to grace our lives with his amazing presence.

with all this being said I am hoping that we could help my sister Sarra and nephew Brian by raising money to help with non-medical related bills like her cell phone, gas for all his travels back and forth to the hospital, household items and food, and for Christmas and his upcoming 13th Birthday in February or any other expanses . I would like to be able to at least help my sister by eliminating at least some of her financial worries while not being able to work so she can just be there for Brian and make sure she can afford whatever financial obstacle my come her way. Any little bit helps.
Thank you all for your love and support.
