My name is Mai, and I am a mother of seven children. We used to live in a modest home in Gaza, trying to survive despite all the hardships. But everything changed when an Israeli airstrike destroyed our house. We lost everything. Now, my children and I are living in a tent, without safety or shelter.

My youngest son, who is only 10 years old, suffered a severe brain injury due to the bombing. He urgently needs medical treatment that I cannot afford. I was also injured in the attack and need care myself.
