HELP FOR MRS. BUNTIN

Hi Everyone,
Mrs. Buntin needs our help. Yes, the woman who helped raise all of us needs our assistance. Mrs. Buntin recently took a fall and cracked her left knee cap. While in rehab her kidneys started to fail and she had to go through dialysis. Unfortunately, she is going to need much care in the future when she gets out of rehab in late December. Mrs. Buntin is also going to need some customized equipment, such as a customized scooter (cost $4,000 to $6,000) and a customized van (cost $25,000 to $35,000).
So we (her girls) are asking for donations in any amount to help pay for her customized equipment. Please forward this link to anyone that has played sports for Mrs. Buntin or simply knew her from back in the day.
Mrs. Buntin worked as the recreational leader at Tindal and Johnson Centers on the Northwest side of Detroit for many years where she taught sports to the kids in the neighborhood. Mrs. Buntin is also the founder of the M.G. Pacers Youth Track Club, where several college bound students got their start.
Mrs. Buntin has given us so much!!! She taught us how to play any and all sports. She taught us how to win graciously. She gave us confidence in ourselves. She fed us and watched over us always. She fought for our right to compete. She helped bring the eastside and westside together as one. And of course, one of Mrs. Buntin’s most cherished accomplishments was that none of her girls or guys ever played on a Junior Varsity team. WE all played on High School Varsity teams. Amen---
