Help for Mike Martinez and His Family

My Name is Michael Alvarez, I met Mike when I was around 9/10 years old, and later met his wife Kat at the age of 14 to 15. Mike and I became brothers and later on Mike and Kat married and had 3 beautiful boys. Our kids are cousins his family is my family. This is my Brother and his family needs our Help. I’m asking everyone to come together to help this beautiful family, cause I know that if the tables were turned they would do whatever they could to help the other person.

Mike has been diagnosed with warm AIHA [autoimmune hemolytic anemia] this means that the antibodies that his body is making are eating his red blood cells and that delivers oxygen to the body. The doctors don't know what's causing this or even how to treat it. He has been in the hospital. Mike has already undergone Plasmapheresis [plasma exchange], 40 plus blood transfusions, chemo, IVIG, retuxubam [immune suppressant treatment] and steroids over the 2 month since he was admitted. Mike and his Family have been living at the hospital the last month together, as he almost almost died once and was sent to the ICU because his blood dropped critically low causing him to go in and out of coma. A healthy person's hemoglobin level for men is anything above 13.5gm/dl to 17gm/dl , Mikes level when he went into the hospital were 3.4 which is almost dead. This is why he wasnsent to the ICU. Mikes birthday is Nov 27th and he will be spending his 34th birthday in the hospital along with thankgsiving & chirstmas. Both his wife and Him have exhausted all their benefits and saving account, and now the main providers for their large family are having a hard time providing and are not able work and with chirstmas right around the corner for their 3 sons, they are doing everything they can right now to stay afloat.
