Help for Maria and her family

Maria's husband, Zygmunt, went missing while kayaking on May 17th. Despite police search efforts, his body hasn't been found. Zygmunt was providing 24 hour care for his wife, Maria, who has severe dementia. Maria requires specialized daily care, which Zygmunt was providing.
Please support Maria's family in hiring a private search and rescue team to locate Maria's husband's body, and to provide additional care for Maria for the rest of her life. We are grateful for your consideration and support during this difficult time.

My name is Tomasz Janiewicz. I am running this campaign together with my brother Christopher and my sister Agnieszka. We are the children of Zygmunt and Maria. We are all living in different locations: Toronto, Portland, OR, and Coventry, UK, away from our mom's place of residence. With the money we raise we will hire a private search and rescue team to locate the body of my father. This will bring closure to the event and will greatly simplify legal matters. Police search was conducted, however, a more specialized equipment is needed.
My mom has dementia and is not able to live alone.
We want to provide loving care for our mom by having a care giver provide specialized care which involves stimulating her brain so as it does not deteriorate further.
We also want to explore other options of moving our mom to a location where one of her children lives. This would involve travel costs, rent and fully private care.
We will withdraw the funds for the search once the search and rescue team finish their search and provide updates on the costs.
The funds for Maria's care and a possible move will be withdrawn on an as needed basis and detailed updates will be provided.
