Help for my husband’s case expenses

As many of you have seen, my husband, who was legally here, but due to a known error in ICE’s system, showing he is expired on his work permit, was stopped at a border patrol checkpoint in Texas and arrested. He was working on his semi truck and was arrested, and is being detained and facing possible deportation. For the first 6 days, he slept on the floor with a foil blanket in a refridgerated room and offered only one sandwich every 8 hours and they were pork sandwiches, which he told them it’s against his religion to eat. They said he could eat that or nothing so he ate only bread. He is in a better situation now but has lost weight.  


He was was our main source of income due to my health conditions, and though I had been working I couldn’t cover everything myself and I had to pay lawyers. He was deported back to Spain after 5 1/2 months held at the deportation center, so now we will have the expense of reuniting, also. I have been trying to keep things afloat, but I got evicted and had to leave my house and live with my mom and brother and can’t afford any more for the lawyers needed to get him out.  


I have now lost my home and my husband. I know there are many, many cases like mine and I’m sure there are many more deserving GoFundMe’s. I hesitated for weeks even doing it, but if anyone could please help in our time of need, it would mean the world to me. This has been the worst five months in my whole life and in Dani’s.

I am since he has been gone, been battling ms, which makes it even more difficult.
