Help for little Benjamin Kalezić

Benjamin Kalezic was born in 2011 in Bar, Montenegro with Cerebral Palsy, he currently lives with his family in Montenegro. Cerebral Palsy is a lifelong neurological disease that a child could be born with or get shortly after birth, the disease will limit his motor skills, speech and mobility. Benjamin has a twin sister named Ajla.
Benjamin’s parents Sabrija and Salija Kalezic have made every possible attempt within their means to treat little Benjamin. They have traveled on numerous occasions to many hospitals and doctors within the ex-Yugoslavia looking for treatment. All those visits did not yield successful results.
While there is no cure for Cerebral Palsy there are treatments available which can help ease Benjamin’s life. Newly developed treatment includes stem cell therapy. The treatment is new and can help Benjamin gain many normal aspects of life. The treatment will be completed in four phases, each phase costing €8,000 or a total of €32,000. The treatment will be completed at LIV Hospital in Turkey. The hospital in Turkey is a pioneer in this field and has treated other kids with Cerebral Palsy.
Benjamin and his twin sister were born prematurely in the 7th month of pregnancy. His sister Ajla also had developmental issues and their parents visited countless doctors with her and were able help her gain her mobility and she was able to attend public school. Ajla's biggest dream and hope is that her brother Benjamin can walk and go to school with her.
Our goal is to raise $45,000 which will help pay for the treatment, transportations and accommodations for Benjamin and his family to Turkey. The quicker that we can raise money the quicker that he can begin the stem cell therapy.
We the friends and family of Benjamin’s family have taken it upon ourselves to raise the funds and help Benjamin get his childhood back so that he can join his sister and begin his education . We are asking for your help in raising these funds, any amount will help; if you cannot donate we ask that you pray for a successful surgery and recovery for Benjamin.
