Hey Everyone,
So as we have recently found out, our friend/family/cuzzin/and Wonderfull community member Laureen Harrold, has been diagnosed with Cancer and is going to need all the help she can get! With raising her beautiful daughters, Chemo, radiation and constant trips back and fourth it is going to be a very expensive road to recovery, and We know Laureen has helped everyone when she could, and how she could, lets help Laureen out on her road to remission she is a beautiful soul inside and out and would not hesitate to help any of us when and if  we are ever in need, there is no way she would ask for help on her own.

Here is Laureen's Official post from Facebook:

"Well I've been debating for quite some time to post a lil something to get everyone on the same page so here we go:

I've had 3 surgery's this year and the first was reconstructive knee surgery January 15, following that for the next month I won quite a bit of $, it was enough money to get a breast reduction/lift so that's what I did.

The second surgery was on March 6-17. I had a concern of a funny looking dimple on my left boob and asked the plastic surgeon to look at it while he was in there (jokingly - cause it looked funny) after surgery he did not tell me that he removed a lump and not did he tell me that it was sent to pathology, as I found out later the report was back in his office three weeks later and was not read for three months. We had communicated through personal text messages, emails and phone calls and then we had a follow up visit June 26 and that's when I found out about the pathology report, but everything was really minimized in that appointment because I was leaving to drive home right after that appointment so he didn't tell me the truth about the whole thing, or I would have been a hazard on the road I guess.

A week later I met a breast specialist finding out that it was invasive cancer ( scary, I thank Wanita for being with me) from that appointment they made three more appointments for me in Calgary, and then I had to wait three weeks for those results, then a surgery date to remove the rest of the cancer and that was September 11. My choice on surgery was Full left breast removal or partial removal plus radiation I opted for a partial removal plus radiation. So on sept 11th I had a 3.3cm mass removed plus a lymph node. Everybody I came in contact with couldn't of been a better experience everybody was pretty amazing in Calgary.

I was in no pain whatsoever the next morning after surgery I walked 12 city blocks to the mall and 14 days after surgery I was back at work bouncing around and 45ton rock truck, Dr. Lupo said not for 6 to 8 weeks but it was two weeks later I was back at work lol, I've healed incredibly well. I'm really surprised and feel great, wish I could be at home with my girls but soon enough, I have no choice need ta work

And lastly I received a phone call from Dr Austin the day I was coming back to work with the results from the last pathology report, the cancer was removed from my L breast successfully with healthy margins( that means with healthy tissue all around it) but turns out there was cancer in my lymph node and outside the lymph node so initially my choice for surgery was a partial removal plus radiation now it'll be chemo and radiation I'll find out through video link on October 16 the plan for treatment I'll keep y'all posted I love you all thank you to my amazing family and incredible friends and mostly my beautiful girls

I am truly grateful for a lot of things, but right now most of all early detection

Didn't really proofread everything, hope it's clear. I need to get my butt to work lol

P.S

I have to be ok, I'm gonna be a gma wooooooooooooo

Hope y'all had an incredible thanksgiving spent with family and friends. I'll make it up to my babies when I get home Taneal Leanne Harrold Daitenn Shateja Jessie Harrold

Even in times of Hardship Laureen has always remained strong and has persevered through every obstacle that life has thrown her way, through the good and the bad. So please people lets help Laureen any bit will truly help, she has told me she is overwhelmed with all the messages of love and support and turns into a "huge sobbing baby", she would truly be grateful for any love and support we may have to give, wether it be financial, spiritual, or emotional we love you Laureen and you are going to come out of this stronger than ever before !!
