Help for Kelly Drew (former braider)

Most people know, Kelly Drew suffered a massive stroke and brain bleed in January 2020. She was braiding at HITS when the stroke occurred.

Kelly is STILL in a facility in n Palm Springs and due to Covid, she can’t get home to BC unless there are certain things in order.  She will need to be in a facility for the rest of her  life and will require ongoing care and  therapy. Due to being on life support, she needs extensive dental work. Lastly, the braindamage has left her with memory loss  

The facility she is currently at will be assisting with getting a lawyer involved to help with the paperwork and documentation for her to hopefully get here for in a year or so.She will need to get medically transported somehow.

Kelly is basically starting her life again without anything to get her going . She is struggling due to the fact she is stuck in a facility, during a pandemic, without the ability to walk on her own  

Kelly needs medical equipment as well. My  wish for her, is to also be able to send her some Christmas presents. 

Any donation helps. I hope that you can find it in your heart to help Kelly with the things she needs. 

i will post updates but keep in mind, she is  stable, health wise. She is having a tougher time coming to terms with her new normal.This is why I want to send her some Christmas presents to try to brighten at least oneday this year.

About me: I have known Kelly for probably 40 years. I also knew her family very, very well. I just am trying to help get her affairs in order as she has a lot of memory loss and needs assistance. Kelly really wants to come home!!
