I've had Kaidan for about 15 years now and he's been a wonderful snake. He still has a good five years at the very least left in him, but his eye is currently giving him trouble. As you can see from the header image taken today (09/05/2025), his eye has an abscess, and several layers of stuck shed that requires an operation to remove.

We went to Cambridge Veterinary Group this morning to see if the vet could manually remove them without any additional need for anaesthetics and anything else required... Unfortunately, still stuck. We're due to return for his operation on the 20th of May. I've been quoted £800 (it's more than that, but that's the bulk of it), but it's not something I'll be able to afford on top of other bills I have coming out and I'll be in the negatives. As you can see from my Monzo notification the consultation was only £84 so that wasn’t too bad.

We can't afford to put this op off any longer than it already has been, so if possible, I'm asking for a little bit of help towards covering the cost of the operation itself. I can post receipts and the likes after I receive them..
