Help for Jordan After Hurricane

Dear Family/Friends/Supporters,
Yesterday, August 28th, was one of the scariest days of my sister’s life.
Just a short while ago Jordan Beal and her family packed up their home and moved from Ruston, LA to Houston, TX to embark on a new Pre-Kindergarten teaching opportunity. With two small children (ages 3 and 9 months) the move was expensive and tedious, but she wanted to be closer to family and explore opportunities to increase her income potential. They were still working to set up shop just a couple weeks prior to the first day of school.
Yesterday, she awoke to water quickly rising on her street. By mid-day, the water was up to her knees. She lived in a ranch style house and feared that if she stayed she would be putting her and her family’s lives in danger. After she alerted my mom and I we called every hurricane aid number we could find until we were able to have them rescued. She and her family were able to escape, but sadly, all their belongings are lost.
All the furniture. Electronics. Almost all of the family’s clothes. The cars. Everything is flooded in their home.
Jordan is going to need resources to get her and her family’s life back on track as soon as possible. Please donate anything you can to help my sister and her family get the resources they need.

Jordan is an amazing person. She just received an award for Teacher of The Year at her previous school. She loves children and guiding the future leaders of America. She is crafty and loves a good Pinterest hack or HGTV show. She has a big heart and is always looking to lend a helping hand.
She has always earned a modest living as a pre-k teacher and is going to have a truly rough time getting back on her feet.

- Living Expenses (deposits and rent for new housing)
- Replacement furniture
- Clothes for the family
- Possible down payment on replacement vehicles
